FUSES FASHION WITH TECHNOLOGY IN COUTURE TO BEAT THE HEAT\r\nBeat the summer heat in style, luxury Caribbean fashion brand from the Cayman Islands, Isy B. is the first designer to incorporate technology in its high fashion collections ensuring that you stay feeling cool and fresh at your next outdoor summer party.
The idea for Cayman-based luxury fashion brand
Isy B. was born when founder Isy Obi found herself wilting in the heat at far too many daytime events, and creating fashion that could do double duty in keeping women cool and comfortable became a priority in the years of research that followed before the brand launched in 2015.
Since then,
Isy B. dresses have been seen at Cayman Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, and will be making their debut in the USA later this year in the desert heat of Phoenix Fashion Week.
“Let’s face it, most fashion is not designed for the heat. For many women, summer-time dressing is a comprise between comfort and style, but with the fabric technology we have available today, we can change that.” Said Obi, “Menswear companies have been ahead of the game in incorporating environmental technology into their collections. I looked around the fashion industry for similar fashion for women and when I was unable to find what was needed, I decided to create it. Women deserve to feel just as comfortable as the guys at a party!”
Each
Isy B. dresses is light, elegant, and specifically designed to keep the wearer looking beautiful and feeling comfortable in heat & humidity by incorporating natural fibers with the latest scientific developments in functional fabrics from around the world. Special ventilation in the fabric allows the movement of air to the skin so it can breathe, and moisture is absorbed from skin instantly and dries quickly leaving a better overall feeling of comfort, and reducing the risk of visible sweat marks. A Godsend for any fashionista this summer or jet-setter traveling to warmer climates.
Even better, they’ve been tested in the tropical climate of the Cayman Islands where temperatures hover around a sweltering 90 degrees Fahrenheit for much of the year, with humidity of up to 92%.
The trend for ath-leisure wear in fashion shows that more women than ever want to be comfortable the clothes they wear and
Isy B. hopes to be that flag bearer when it comes to elegant dressing when the temperatures rise.
